About this site
Big Walk Guide is an independent, fan-made reference for Big Walk. One editor maintains it: the puzzle write-ups, the coordinate work, the tools and the source grading are all produced and checked by the same person, and every factual claim is expected to name where it came from.
Who is behind it
The site is operated by Jeff Song in Chongqing, China (see the contact page for how to reach the operator). It is not affiliated with House House, Panic, Steam or Valve, and it is not an official product of any of them.
The editor plays the game on the released build, records what a puzzle actually does instead of repeating what a forum said, and labels the difference: sourced facts, single-source reports, and the site's own untested inference each carry a different mark.
How the content is made
Every page draws on the same pipeline. Official material — the developer FAQ, store pages and patch notes — is treated as first-party. Community guides are read, graded and listed on the sources page with what was taken from each. Anything the editor measured personally is marked as a field report, and anything inferred without confirmation is marked as untested.
Where a figure comes from an API or an endpoint, the page says which one and when it was collected. Where a coordinate comes from a single community guide, it is labelled as a community measurement rather than presented as verified.
Corrections
If a guide is wrong, the fix is to say so on the page, not to quietly overwrite it. A correction to the site's own earlier claim is written into the entry that made the claim, so a returning reader sees the change. Send corrections through the contact page.
