Analytics preferences
Analytics are off until you allow them.
What is collected
Analytics. With your consent, the site loads two analytics tools. Microsoft Clarity records anonymous session replays and heat maps so the editor can see where guides lose readers. PostHog (US cloud) counts page views and a few tool actions, such as generating a signal scheme or creating a share link, under a random ID, and records script errors so broken pages can be fixed. PostHog is set to discard IP addresses, so it does not store yours. Clarity's replays show the site's own page text, but it masks what you type into fields, and the site also masks your share link, its revoke code and the teammate names you enter. PostHog records no page text or input. The site does not use either tool for advertising.
Share links. Opening a share link sets one first-party cookie that remembers which share you arrived from, for up to 30 days. Only when you create a share link of your own does the site also set a random visitor ID (kept up to two years), which is how it counts how many people a share brought in. Neither cookie holds a name or email, and neither is used for analytics or advertising. A share link stores only the scheme's numbers, expires after 30 days, and can be revoked with the code shown when you create it.
No accounts, no forms. The site has no sign-in and no comment system, so it holds no email addresses, names or passwords of its own. The search palette runs entirely in your browser.
Advertising. The site does not display advertising or use advertising networks. You can decline analytics and still use every page.
Cookies and consent
Analytics cookies and storage are only set after you choose "Allow analytics" in the banner: PostHog's ph_* entry, Clarity's _clck, _clsk and CLID, and Microsoft cookies that Clarity's script sets on Microsoft domains (MUID, MR, SRM_B, ANONCHK), which Microsoft's privacy statement covers. Choosing "Not now" leaves them off and leaves the site fully usable. Use the analytics preferences on this page to allow or turn off analytics at any time.
Third parties
Gameplay videos are embedded from YouTube, which may set its own cookies when you open a player. Map guides and source references open on external sites. Those links, including Steam and PlayStation store links, are subject to their destinations' own policies.
Your rights
The site keeps no names, emails or accounts. Analytics data is held by Microsoft (Clarity) and PostHog under random IDs; you can stop future analytics with the preferences on this page. For any request about data a third-party service holds, use that service's own controls. Questions or requests can go to the contact page.
