Hint 1 — A small nudge
The achievement's clue is Get shiny. Think about your character's appearance; the player accounts linked in the full answer describe it separately from the ending and collecting everything.
Hint 2 — Where to explore
The documented route is below ground. GameSpot describes the Yellow Tower as the normal way to open the tunnels; if you have not opened them, start with that tower.
Hint 3 — A landmark
Tasselfoot's Steam guide starts near the red-to-blue tunnel connection by Rave.
Full answer — reveals the route and action
From the red/blue tunnel connection near Rave, tasselfoot's guide crosses a green bridge and descends red stairs into a purple area: the Salon.
Have a teammate apply a shiny paint option to your character there. Tasselfoot specifies one of the lower three choices; GameSpot describes metallic colours at the second paint studio. These are the guides' descriptions, not official menu labels.
