The short answer
A vertical room with the collectable at the very bottom. Picking it up seals the stairs, so you cannot walk out the top. Instead, stand at the edge and throw it upward to the teammate on the first platform, and repeat level by level until it reaches the top, where it goes into a designated box that locks it in.
The design deliberately denies you the way up once you have it - which is what forces the throwing.
Before you start
- 2 players or more (every level needs somebody to catch)
- A backpack, optionally: it holds two at once and halves the number of trips
Step-by-step4 steps
- 1
Go to the bottom and take it
Walk to the bottom of the vertical room and pick the collectable up. The stairs seal the instant you do - that is the design, not a bug.
- 2
Throw it up to the first level
Stand at the edge and throw the collectable up to your teammate on the first platform so they catch it.
Schematic: the shared timing of relay and throw puzzles. Whoever holds the ball, or the timer, cannot move - it is always "catcher in position first, then hand off". - 3
Repeat it level by level
Throw and catch all the way up. The gaps get wider as you go, so aim gets more demanding.
Faster:A backpack holds two at a time, which halves how many chairlift trips you need to make.
- 4
At the top, put it in the designated box
Once it reaches the top, place the collectable in its designated box and it locks; the puzzle is finished.
Where it goes wrong
These are the questions real players search for most. Working through them in order usually finds the cause.
After finishing:1 black tower part.
Where this solution came from
big-walk.net documents the well's structure, location, the placement box at the top, and the practical detail that a backpack holds two at once and halves the chairlift trips.
Puzzles in this game are not assigned in a fixed order: most of them reward the same generic red gourd, so you can clear any set of challenges around a tower. That is why two guides list different puzzle line-ups for the same tower — neither is wrong. Unless a coordinate is credited to a named source it is a community measurement, and later versions can shift it; once you are in the area, trust the landmark over the number.
