The short answer

The building has two turnstiles and each player takes one side. The left side has tiles and a pin board; the right side has symbols in a specific order. Pass that order to the player on the left so they can recreate it on the pin board.

A variation on the red tower silent room - one side looks, the other side places - except this time the turnstiles separate you and once you are in, you cannot get out until it is solved.

Before you start

  • 2 players; one player per side only

Step-by-step4 steps

  1. 1

Check you are on the right side

The building has two turnstiles, which means one player must go in on each side. After you enter you cannot exit through the turnstile until the puzzle is complete, so make sure neither of you has anything else pending before you commit.

  2. 2

Work out what each of you holds

The player on the left has tiles and a pin board. The player on the right has a set of symbols arranged in a specific order.

Room A - can only lookScreen / disc / tile patternOnly he can see thisx Cannot see the buttons oppositeRoom B - can only act5 buttons (matching positions)x Cannot see room A's screenVoice is cutAll that is left: gestures - knocks on the partition - pointingAgree "which one from the left" first, then start transmitting
Schematic: separated communication. One side can only look, the other can only act, and the channel between them is cut on purpose - orange barn, silent room, interrogation room and beach house all fit this model.
  3. 3

    Transmit the right-hand order

The player on the right reports, or acts out, the symbol order to the player on the left, who recreates it on the pin board in that same order.

Faster:Say whether the order runs left to right or top to bottom before you name the first symbol.

  4. 4

The left side gets it right

Once the pin board sequence matches, the puzzle completes and the gourd is yours.

Where it goes wrong

These are the questions real players search for most. Working through them in order usually finds the cause.

No. The turnstiles hold you until the puzzle is solved. Finish anything else you came here for first.

Agree the reading direction first - from the left, or from the top - and only then transmit the first symbol.

After finishing:1 yellow tower part.

Where this solution came from

The GameSlayer gives the location (east of the blue tower, beside the music box button) and the mechanic: two turnstiles, tiles and pin board on the left, symbol order on the right, and no way back out through the turnstile. The same look-and-place logic matches bigwalk.tips' turnstile entries.

Puzzles in this game are not assigned in a fixed order: most of them reward the same generic red gourd, so you can clear any set of challenges around a tower. That is why two guides list different puzzle line-ups for the same tower — neither is wrong. Unless a coordinate is credited to a named source it is a community measurement, and later versions can shift it; once you are in the area, trust the landmark over the number.
