The short answer

Two players press the buttons by the doorway, which unlocks the collectable but locks one player inside with their voice cut off. Whoever is outside finds the second set of switches in the pillar by the door, and activating them reveals a tile pattern on the pin board. The player inside has to recreate it with tiles, and the only channels left are gestures and knocks on the partition.

The most sign-language-dependent puzzle in the game. It is designed to take away the channel you lean on hardest: talking.

Before you start

  • 2 players
  • Agree a gesture system before you start. This is the pass/fail step, not an optional extra

Step-by-step5 steps

  1. 1

Both players press a door-side button

The orange barn sits by the railway. Each of you presses one of the two buttons beside the doors: the collectable unlocks, and one player is shut inside with normal voice communication gone.

  2. 2

Find the second set of switches in the pillar

The player who stayed outside checks the pillars near the entrance, finds the second set of hidden switches, and activates them.

  3. 3

The pin board shows the pattern

Once those are live, a set of tile patterns appears on the pin board - on the outside side.

Room A - can only lookScreen / disc / tile patternOnly he can see thisx Cannot see the buttons oppositeRoom B - can only act5 buttons (matching positions)x Cannot see room A's screenVoice is cutAll that is left: gestures - knocks on the partition - pointingAgree "which one from the left" first, then start transmitting
Schematic: separated communication. One side can only look, the other can only act, and the channel between them is cut on purpose - orange barn, silent room, interrogation room and beach house all fit this model.
  4. 4

Rebuild it inside with tiles (gestures and knocks only)

The locked-in player is the one placing tiles, but they receive no spoken instructions. Everything has to travel as gestures, facial expression, and knocks on the partition.

Faster:One tile, one fixed gesture, decided in advance. It is ten times faster than inventing signs on the spot.

  5. 5

It is done when the patterns match

When the pin board patterns line up exactly, the partition drops, the puzzle is solved, and you have the gourd.

Gesture cheat sheet

On this puzzle your voice does not matter. This set of agreements does.

Where it goes wrong

These are the questions real players search for most. Working through them in order usually finds the cause.

That is the design, not a bug. Voice is deliberately cut in this room so that gestures and knocks become the channel.

Split "which tile" and "which position" into two separate signals. Send one fact at a time instead of trying to express the whole board in one gesture.

After finishing:1 green tower part.

Where this solution came from

allthings.how and games.gg agree on the sequence - two door buttons, one player locked in, hidden switches in the pillar, pattern on the pin board, gesture-only communication. larosh97 has matching gameplay video.

Puzzles in this game are not assigned in a fixed order: most of them reward the same generic red gourd, so you can clear any set of challenges around a tower. That is why two guides list different puzzle line-ups for the same tower — neither is wrong. Unless a coordinate is credited to a named source it is a community measurement, and later versions can shift it; once you are in the area, trust the landmark over the number.
