The short answer

The blue building holds 9 tiles whose symbols are only visible through the lens provided. The door locks behind you, so you have to inspect every one before you move anything. Build a memory system out of the statues, rocks and other visual markers outside, then place the tiles on the five-symbol panel. The panel changes when it is re-armed, so never reuse the previous sequence.

What it actually tests is whether you looked at everything before the door locked. Plenty of people run out holding tiles and then discover they memorised nothing.

Before you start

  • 2 players: one holds the tile up, one reads through the lens

Step-by-step4 steps

  1. 1

    Walk in without triggering it

The blue building contains a five-symbol panel and 9 tiles. Note that the door locks once you start, so inspect every single tile before you trigger anything.

  2. 2

Read the symbols through the lens

The symbols on the tiles are normally invisible - you can only see them through the lens provided. One player holds a tile up, the other reads it through the lens and remembers it.

Room A - can only lookScreen / disc / tile patternOnly he can see thisx Cannot see the buttons oppositeRoom B - can only act5 buttons (matching positions)x Cannot see room A's screenVoice is cutAll that is left: gestures - knocks on the partition - pointingAgree "which one from the left" first, then start transmitting
Schematic: separated communication. One side can only look, the other can only act, and the channel between them is cut on purpose - orange barn, silent room, interrogation room and beach house all fit this model.
  3. 3

Anchor the memory to the landmarks outside

Outside the door there are obvious visual markers - a statue, rocks. Bind each marker to a tile symbol; that is far more reliable than memorising the symbols directly.

  4. 4

Place them on the five-symbol panel

On the five-symbol panel outside, place the tiles according to the pairings you memorised.

Faster:The panel changes when it re-arms. If you fail and retry, do not assume last round's sequence still means anything.

Where it goes wrong

These are the questions real players search for most. Working through them in order usually finds the cause.

That is the standard failure. Inspect all 9 before the door locks, and use the outside landmarks as memory anchors.

The panel changes when it re-arms. Every attempt is a new sequence.

After finishing:1 green tower part.

Where this solution came from

bigwalk.tips gives 3740, 2140 and the full mechanic - 9 tiles, symbols only visible through the lens, the door locks, the panel changes. The GameSlayer's Invisible Ink and games.gg's Color Tile describe the same mechanic.

Puzzles in this game are not assigned in a fixed order: most of them reward the same generic red gourd, so you can clear any set of challenges around a tower. That is why two guides list different puzzle line-ups for the same tower — neither is wrong. Unless a coordinate is credited to a named source it is a community measurement, and later versions can shift it; once you are in the area, trust the landmark over the number.
