Use two whole HUD numbers from 0 to 9999, separated by a comma or space: 4166, 1899 or 4166 1899. Map-scale decimals must first be multiplied by 100.

  • Red tower
  • Green tower
  • Yellow tower

The chart only shows the 15 points that have a coordinate pair. The yellow tower area has a single position, 3590, 2020, a community-reported pair taken from its puzzle guides; the blue and black tower areas have none, so nothing is plotted there - that is not a missing drawing.

Type in the two numbers on your screen and we tell you which mapped location you are closest to, by how much, and which guide to open. Every piece of data it needs is already here: 15 mapped coordinate points (12 of the 15 are single-source community field reports, and 2 have no recorded source) at 14 distinct positions - the 13 places with a coordinate pair in the table below, plus 2 that appear only on individual puzzle guides. So you can work from one page instead of a static image or a long table.

Learn to read a coordinate first

Coordinates in the game are four-digit numbers, formatted like 4166, 1899 or 3930, 1900. You read them like this: put a decimal point before the last two digits, find the first number on the map's side scale and the second on its bottom scale. So 4166, 1899 is 41.66 on the side (follow that horizontal line) and 18.99 at the bottom (follow that vertical line), and where they cross is your target.

Schematic: how to read a coordinate. 4166 is 41.66 on the side scale (follow that horizontal line), 1899 is 18.99 on the bottom scale (follow that vertical line); where they cross is the target.

Prerequisite: until you have the folding map from the red tower (or the GPS device near the green tower that one guide describes), these numbers are gibberish to you. This is the single biggest reason coordinate puzzles trap people - not that you cannot read them, but that you have no tool that makes them readable yet. (For that GPS route, see the 4166, 1899 guide.)

Note that this table has no rows for the yellow, blue and black tower areas. The blue and black areas have no coordinate pair at all; the yellow area has one guide-reported pair, 3590, 2020, which the finder above plots. That is not an omission - none of these regions has sources that corroborate each other, so the table lists no numbers for them. Following a landmark description on the tower page beats following a figure that might send you somewhere wrong.
